In which I attempt to divert attention away from the lack of a copper shelf tutorial by posting pictures of a cute dog and my toddler

This is not a copper shelving tutorial. I fully intended to have that for you today, but then things happened. As they do.

I hope you weren’t planning to make copper shelves using my tutorial this weekend. Probably you weren’t.

Instead, here are some pictures of Abe hunting for Easter eggs at my grandparents’ house last weekend. He was really sleepy, because the egg hunt happened right around nap time, and he doesn’t really do well with missed naps. But he was pretty excited about the egg hunt anyway:

And then here is our new foster dog, Bonus. Bonus is one of the best ones yet; he’s super friendly and cuddly without being clingy and needy, and he’s adorable and loves everyone (except the cats. But the cats are bigger than he is, so I’m not worried about them) and is no trouble at all. The kids beg me to let them keep him on a daily basis, but so far I’m staying strong. I already have someone interested in him, so he may be leaving this weekend.

NEXT week: shelving tutorial, I promise! There might also be some actual progress in the master bathroom to talk about. And other things. Surprises!

Have a great weekend, all!
